Before you hang your stands.

1. Inspect your tree. Select a live straight tree that fits within the size limits recommended in your treestand’s instructions. Do not climb or place a treestand against a leaning tree.
2. Never use a homemade stand. Use only stands that are certified to TMA standards.
3. Wear a full-body harness when installing your stands. If you are installing a lock-on style stand, use a Lineman’s-style Belt with your full-body harness.
