The season is over and its now maintenance time on your treestands, climbing aids and safety equipment.

1. Check all strapping material, buckles, seats, stitching for wear and tear.
2. Oil hinges and tighten bolts and screws.
3. Time to repaint where necessary. 
4. Check all rope assemblies for cuts, unraveling or any weak areas.
5. Wash away dirt, mud or oils that may create dangerous slippery areas.
6. Add padded rails where needed.
7. Take steps to reduce any potential noisy sqeaks or clicks.
